Deadline Extended to January 20, 2026
CPNL is currently inviting feedback on the proposed updates to the Standards of Pharmacy Operation (SOPO) for Hospital Pharmacy. Your feedback will help inform the final draft of the standards and the deadline by which the standards must be met.
The SOPO describes the minimum acceptable standards applicable to operating a licensed hospital pharmacy in Newfoundland and Labrador and are intended to promote consistency in the provision of pharmacy services in the province.
When updating pharmacy standards, it is important that we hear from those whom the standards directly impact. As such, we ask that you take the time to review the standards and complete the survey.

The survey is designed to elicit your feedback as you review each section of the standards, which are linked throughout the survey.
You can leave the survey and resume it later if you use the same computer and the same browser. If you attempt to resume the survey on another computer or using a different browser, you will have to restart the survey from the beginning.
Individual survey responses are anonymous and confidential.
The deadline for submitting your response is Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
